China Export Trade Opportunity

NZ China Direct Ltd has been established with the specific goal of helping NZ exporters to enter the China market via an exciting New Zealand Store, based in Nanjing “Rotorua Town”. This store is already built and awaiting a NZ style store fit-out and first shipment of authentically New Zealand products. It has been created to profile and sell Rotorua and New Zealand products to wealthy Chinese tourists and Nanjing residents.

For New Zealand exporters, it presents a relatively low risk and inexpensive opportunity to enter the dynamic Chinese market, because NZ China Direct Ltd will purchase outright the stock in New Zealand. Where NZ companies already have agents established in China, products can be delivered direct from their agents to Nanjing for the grand store opening in November 2007. The store will open with Merino apparel and additional products will be introduced in 2008.
