Timber & Construction

China's construction sector is one of the most active in the globe. This provides significant opportunities for the supply of innovative building and construction technologies, but recognizing the significantly different building and construction methods adopted by each county.

Purchasing Chinese sourced products enables New Zealand companies to access the economies of scale that Chinese manufacturers enjoy, while also providing some other opportunities for New Zealand manufacturers / producers to combine their products with Chinese components for full build solutions in other markets.

NZ China Direct's sister company, Red Stag Timber, is one of the largest producer of construction grade timber in New Zealand. This provides NZ China Direct with a significant understanding for sourcing products in New Zealand, as well as distributing Chinese manufactured products.
