Exporting to China 
China is on its way to being the trade superpower of the world and no global business can afford to ignore the opportunity it presents.
NZ China Direct is seeking to work with New Zealand exporters who are committed to developing a long-term mutually successful presence in China. We are focused on specific sectors and regions where we can add value.
Because our office location is located in Shanghai, most of our export marketing effort is focused in the Shanghai, Jiangsu, Anhui and Zhejing provinces. As specific products are brought into China we will expand into other regions.
For New Zealand exporters, this presents a relatively low risk and inexpensive opportunity to enter the dynamic Chinese market, because we:
- purchase stock outright in New Zealand
- identify the most mutually advantageous channel-to-market (incl. direct sales)
- champion marketing and distribution of the goods in China
- facilitate exporting and shipping the goods to China
- arrange import clearance, product registration and labeling of goods in China.
NZ China Direct typically seek a time-limited exclusive position for a particular region in China prior to undertaking work in-market for a New Zealand supplier. The exclusivity position takes effect once the first transaction has been concluded.

the brand is genuinely NZ-based and your products contain authentic NZ materials / ingredients

your products are of high quality, well presented and supported by point of sales collateral and relevant product training tools

you are prepared to invest the time and money required to meet Chinese regulatory and labeling requirements (we can assist you with this)

your ability to supply is sufficiently scaleable to meet the demand of the China market.
