Founders
Phillip (Phil) Verry
 Eros Capital (the parent company to NZ China Direct Ltd) was founded by the late Phil Verry, who served as the executive chairman of EROS Capital and Red Stag Timber in New Zealand from 2006 until April 2009. Phil was a former senior partner in the Wellington office of the business services firm now known as PriceWaterhouse Coopers and was the inaugural chairman of NZ Wood Innovations (Asia) Inc.
Phil had extensive professional and commercial experience and had been visiting and trading in China for over 30 years. Phil's determination and commitment has ensured that Eros is positioned well to create a strong successful future for Eros and NZ China Direct, befitting of his memory.
Martin (Marty) Verry - Director
Marty Verry is Director of EROS Capital, as well as Red Stag Timber, he is also the co-founder, director and executive chairman of Txt2Get Ltd, a mobilephone text marketing technology start up. Marty also sits on the national wood manufacturing industry advisory board. Marty has over 10 years of commercial experience in leading technology and media ventures.
Management
David Caselli China Director 
David Caselli is Chief Executive of NZ China Direct, as well as being the Managing Director of QiYiTang (Shanghai) Trading Limited. David comes from an extensive background negotiating commercial relationships in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and (most recently) China.
David is based in Shanghai, although his role regularly has him visiting customers in New Zealand. David has been operating in China since late 2007, while he commenced leading NZ China Direct's in-market operations from mid-2008.
David's background includes having helped a large number of New Zealand companies enter new markets, be it directly in trading relationships, or through mergers and acquisitions. David has extensive experience and knowledge of the food & beverage industry in New Zealand, as well having worked with many niche manufacturers over the past 10 years.
David comes from a background in corporate finance and investment banking in both New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Canada and China. David still remains a Director of I Grow New Zealand, a niche corporate finance firm helping high growth New Zealand companies.
Mark Rawson New Zealand  Manager
Mark is the General Manager of Eros Capital in Rotorua, New Zealand. Mark is the on-ground New Zealand resource for NZ China Direct to coordinate our New Zealand administrative requirements, as well as providing support for New Zealand based customers. This role includes providing an interface to Eros Capital, where Eros has become an investor in businesses requiring expansion capital for the growth arising from their China market entry strategy.
Mark has been with Eros Capital for 2 years. Prior to this Mark held a number of economic development roles where he was responsible for establishing trade and economic relationships between China and New Zealand. Mark has been travelling extensively to China for the past 6 years, where he lead a number of trade missions with Shanghai, Suzhou, Nanjing, Beijing and Guangzhou. Mark was also instrumental in developing NZ China Direct¡'s relationship with Rotorua Town in Nanjing.
